Superintendent (Edmonton)

The Superintendent leads, directs and coordinates the work of subcontractors and labourers. This leadership position is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the construction site on an assigned project, executing field operations safely and in a manner consistent with Company objectives. This position will be primarily located in Cold Lake, AB.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership through implementation of the Bird Safety Program and monitoring of safety performance of field staff and subcontractors.
• Provide people leadership by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with field staff and subcontractors to promote positive morale.
• Supervise and develop site team members through regular feedback, training and coaching; complete performance evaluations in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the project schedule.
