Summer PSW Hiring – Nursing Students

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting and peri‑care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help patients enjoy a better quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current nursing student with at least one year of completed coursework (transcripts and enrollment letter).
• Demonstrated compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a passion for making a difference in the community.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for traveling to patient residences within a geographical area.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.
