Structural Engineer

This is a full-time role based in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will oversee the complete structural design process, including preliminary estimating support, structural analysis, steel truss design, cold-formed framing, connection design, and foundation systems. This role works closely with project managers, drafting, fabrication, and field teams to ensure efficient, buildable designs and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• P.Eng. designation in Alberta (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with steel truss design and pre-engineered/conventional steel buildings
• Strong knowledge of cold-formed steel, connection design, and foundation systems
• Experience preparing permit, shop, and erection drawing packages
• Working knowledge of applicable Canadian building codes and structural standards
