Storage Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D., 16 years with a HS diploma
• Extensive hands‑on experience with enterprise storage platforms at petabyte scale (Dell EMC PowerScale/Isilon, NetApp ONTAP, or equivalent)
• Strong expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam, or equivalent) including DR design and recovery testing
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper‑V) and hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix, VxRail)
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) administration in classified environments
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management in air‑gapped networks
• Knowledge of SAN fabric technologies (Fibre Channel, Brocade, Cisco) and storage protocols (SMB, NFS, iSCSI)
