JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Stewarding team at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting smooth and efficient food service operations. We’re currently hiring Stewards to help maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in our kitchens and event spaces by preparing equipment, operating dishwashing machinery, and handling dishware. Successful candidates will be reliable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and available to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.


JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Prepare hot boxes, glasses, dishware, utensils, glassware, Escoffiers, and other kitchen essentials for upcoming events, organizing items for transport from the kitchen to the event venue.

  • Transport food, equipment, and kitchen items to event venues, and return dirty service items to the dishwashing room using manual carts or electric pump trucks, with distances var...
