Staff Specialist Field Application Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical roles related to semiconductors, smart cards, payment systems, embedded systems, or related areas
• Experience working with or supporting card manufacturers (card bureaus) is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of chip modules and ICs applied to smart card solutions, particularly in payment and transit applications
• Familiarity with key industry standards: ISO 14443, ISO 7816, EMVCo specifications, NFC protocols and related technologies
• Knowledge of contactless payment card architectures (banking and transit) is a relevant differentiator
• Understanding of the card manufacturing and personalization process is considered a plus
