Opportunity Description

POSITION SUMMARY

A psychologist is required to provide psychological services to children and youth treated for oncological conditions. Services to be provided include behavioural, and social-emotional assessment, cognitive, psycho-diagnostic assessment, and individual and group education and therapy. The Psychologist will function as part of an interdisciplinary oncology service. They will play a large role in the implementation of patient and family education groups as well as activities related to research, program development, and program evaluation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive psychological assessment, with a focus on diagnostic formulation and delineating the interplay between health and mental health issues.
