Staff Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer located in Prai, Penang. The Managing Mechanical Design & Assembly Engineering role leads the end-to-end development and deployment of mechanical solutions for PCBA mechanical assembly, box build, and system-level assemblies, serving as the internal subject matter expert and primary technical interface with customers.

Typical Day

Lead mechanical design, validation, and deployment for PCBA mechanical assembly, box build, and system-level mechanical assemblies.

Serve as the mechanical SME for tooling, jigs, fixtures, and assembly process design across NPI and sustaining programs.

Lead and participate in DFM/DFA, risk assessments, and design reviews with customers.

Review and approve mechanical concepts to ensure DFM/DFA, quality, safety, ergonomics, and cost targets are met.
