Sr PLC Engineer role at La Pieza. Location: On-site at client facilities (location varies by project). Main base: United States (US). Work mode: On-site, with frequent travel to industrial plants (USA). Remote in Mexico.

Responsibilities Design, program, and test Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) according to system functionality requirements. Implement safety programming and communication with upper-level SCADA systems. Configure and integrate industrial devices such as frequency drives, scanners, barcode readers, and weighing systems. Develop electrical layouts and diagrams using Auto CAD. Download, install, and validate programs on PLCs and HMIs. Perform pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities on-site. Verify field signals to control panels and ensure proper operation of emergency zones and E-STOP buttons. Configure industrial communication networks and gateways.
