Senior Estimator (Transmission)
The role will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of labor, equipment, and materials for supply and installation, and for the direction, preparation, and documentation of work completion estimates for Transmission construction projects.
What You'll Do Here
- Shared accountability for the overall financial performance of projects awarded.
- Analyzes documents, specifications, proposals, addendums in preparation for pricing.
- Performs any estimate related oral and/or written communications with clients.
- Reviewing project site prior to price preparation.
- Collaborates effectively with Operations, PMO and Owners staff as appropriate.
- Obtains input from Operations staff as appropriate.
- Performs quantity take-off from construction drawings where applicable.
- Obtains pricing from Suppliers / Subcontractors and incorporates into estimate.
