Sr Ehs Engineer

Role PurposeThis position is responsible for leading strategic EH&S initiatives, providing advanced technical expertise, and driving the development and maturity of the site's environmental, health, and safety management systems.This position focuses on leading complex projects and influencing site-level strategy—not on performing routine compliance tasks.This role ensures that advanced engineering principles, risk controls, and system improvements are integrated into plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Project ManagementLead complex engineering projects related to EH&S, including process safety, advanced hazard controls, automation, ergonomics, and environmental improvements.Design, implement, and validate engineering solutions to reduce critical risks.Conduct advanced risk analyses (e.g., JSI, complex HIRAs, ventilation calculations, exposure modeling, ergonomic assessments).
