Overview

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Senior Buyer at MKS, you will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Commodity teams to purchase material at the best cost, on time, and with the best quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement through the production cycle.
• Evaluate vendor reliability and develop solutions in case of material shortages.
• Monitor cost and consolidate contracts where required to create cost‑effective purchasing models.
• Develop new supply sources to keep operations stocked and able to generate the desired output.
• Actively maintain inventory and collaborate with operations to ensure appropriate stock.
• Follow and achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Good writing and oral communication skills.
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred.
