Position Summary
Responsible for logistics procurement, ensuring that Vertiv is competitive in the market, with best prices, conditions, and quality, by negotiating with current suppliers and developing new ones.
Responsibilities
Negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure the best conditions to Vertiv.
Handle high level of complexity and impact negotiations.
Responsible for procurement for Latin America region.
Develop new suppliers locally and internationally, based on Procurement, Quality and EHS premises.
Manage supplier performance and act on action plans to recover performance when needed.
Formalize and sign agreements with suppliers to mitigate legal risks to the company.
Follow-up with market trend, analyzing data regarding commodity prices, inflation, and other market indicators to guide the procurement negotiation.
