Sr accountant

The Sr. Accountant acts as a key business partner to the Accounting Manager, driving fiscal discipline and supporting the organization's strategic growth. This role plays a vital part in mitigating financial and operational risk by overseeing financial policies, procedures, and initiatives. It ensures strict adherence to internal controls, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance standards, reinforcing the integrity and stability of the company's financial operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary accounting leader for maintaining general ledger including preparing, reviewing, and approving month end JEs (Journal Entries). Leads in developing and maintaining appropriate financial closing policies, narratives and procedures for US GAAP, local GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley compliance Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, such as Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements and Income statements; Reconcile discrepancies and analyze variances.
