Basic Function

The Patient Care Specialist (PCS) is the single point of contact for patients enrolled in a patient support program. The PCS manages and delivers program services with the highest quality customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience throughout their treatment journey.

Nature and Scope

The PCS serves as the main contact for individual patients and, in some programs, for the group of physician clinics or offices within the designated territory. The PCS collaborates with other PCS and a Case Manager/Field Case Manager to provide end‑to‑end support and improve patient and physician experience.
