Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 gross per year

A new luxury hotel in Rotterdam is preparing for launch and seeks aSous Chefto support the Head Chef in establish and leading all kitchen operations from the ground up. The culinary vision features contemporaryMediterranean cuisine, delivered within a high-end hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the complete kitchen opening and setup
  • Participating in creating menus that meet brand standards and guest expectations
  • Maintaining food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Handling purchasing, supplier relations, inventory control, and food cost optimization
  • Enforcing hygiene, safety, and HACCP procedures
  • Participating in the recruiting and training processes and supervising kitchen staff
  • Collaborating with the F&B service team to ensure smooth operations
