**Overview**

The Azure Storage team is chartered with building, managing, and running the persistent cloud storage for Microsoft Azure cloud. We are one of the foundational services in the Azure Cloud and host data from the largest companies in the world, plus all of Microsoft’s largest online businesses. The team is responsible for the meta-data data service, as well as storing the data across storage servers while ensuring high availability, reliability, durability, and cost efficiency.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is interested in building and optimizing a world class distributed file system.
