Social Worker – Youth Net/Transitional Youth Program, Mental Health – Permanent Full Time (1.0)

Position Summary

Flexibility in scheduling with ability to work evenings, and/or weekends. Consistent with the interprofessional setting and the mission, vision and strategic directions of CHEO, the Social Worker provides intake assessments, short-term therapeutic intervention, clinical back and group facilitation to youth who are taking part in our Outpatient Mental Health Services, primarily through Youth Net-Reseau Ado (YN/RA) and the Transitional Youth Program. YN/RA supports youth 13–20 years of age, in a youth friendly, bilingual “by youth for youth” mental health promotion program which offers alternative support services for youth with an aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health & mental illness through activities, education, research and advocacy.
