Services include clinics that diagnose and treat kidney disease, hemodialysis (incentre, nocturnal, home hemodialysis and shared care), peritoneal dialysis, and conservative management. The Renal Social Worker within Alberta Kidney Care‑North provides psychosocial support to individuals with kidney disease, their families, and caregivers. They assist patients in navigating the complex health‑care system, managing the emotional and practical challenges of living with kidney disease, and accessing necessary resources.
