Support students' emotional well-being with the Ottawa Catholic School Board as a Social Worker. This full-time temporary role offers therapeutic counseling and crisis intervention to enhance academic growth.
As a Social Worker, you will work closely with students under the guidance of the Social Work Lead. Your focus will be on addressing social-emotional needs through assessments, intervention strategies, and family outreach. Collaborate with educators and community resources to provide comprehensive care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen and evaluate referrals for intervention needs
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and goal setting
• Develop intervention and treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies
• Consult with parents and school staff on student needs
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work Degree required
• 5 years of experience in therapeutic services
