Social Worker 2 - Rainbow Services

The Acute Care program is seeking to fill a full‑time, permanent, Social Worker 2 position in our Concurrent Outpatient Medical & Psychosocial Addiction Support Service (COMPASS) with primary responsibilities in the Rainbow Service. Reporting to the COMPASS Manager overseeing Rainbow Services, the incumbent will provide direct clinical care for members of the LGBTQ2S communities who have substance use concerns and concurrent disorders as well as opportunities to provide care to clients being served in our general COMPASSS program on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities may include providing outpatient group‑based treatment, bio/psycho/social treatment needs assessments, discharge planning; and, limited case management and individual therapy, within a trauma‑informed, harm‑reduction supportive and LGBTQ2S framework.
