Skilled Trade – Industrial Mechanic Millwright - Oakville, ON

Industrial Mechanic Millwright Journeypersons are paid a top hourly base rate of $55.95 per hour plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety rules in compliance with government, industry, and corporate standards
• Maintain equipment in a safe & efficient manner
• Assist other trades/operators as required
• Participate in the training of Industrial Mechanic Millwright apprentices as required
• Participate in problem‑solving meetings to help eliminate all downtime
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling to meet job deadlines
• Generate and implement cost savings and process improvement suggestions
