Shipper/Receiver

Job Summary

As directed by the Warehouse Lead Hand, the shipper receiver is responsible for the effective and efficient execution of all aspects of the shipping and receiving activities.

Duties / Accountabilities

• Receives, accounts for number of pieces, and distributes incoming shipments accurately.
• Checks customer order for accuracy (items and number of pieces).
• Packs, ships and generates proper documents such as dangerous goods waybills for outgoing shipments.
• Assists in maintenance functions as assigned by Warehouse Ops manager.
• Contacts carriers for pick-ups using phone.
• Maintains Receipt Log Book and Pick Up Record Logs.
• Back‑up for Order Fillers.
• Responsible for inspection of trailers and products for GMP compliance.
