OverviewThe Shipper/Receiveris responsible foraccurately and efficiently managing all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure smooth operations. This role plays a critical part in supporting other business functions bymaintainingprecision and timeliness in the shipping and receiving process.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesManually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars,and lifting devices.
Put away received materials to proper storage locations.
Process all required paperwork andmaintainadequate records in Sage for reporting and tracking.
Maintain filing of shipping documents.
Prepare and schedule shipments anddaily transportation needs with different carriers/couriers.
