Opportunity Description
Job Requirements
- Laying and joining concrete, PVC and HDPE pipe and fittings for drains, sewers, and water services and hydrants
- Minimum 2+ years experience in sewer and water construction
- Measure, cut, and bevel pipe
- Prepare and grade trenches with shovel or by working within close proximity of excavator
- Install manholes and Oil Grit Separators
- Complete backfill of piping using compactors, jumping jacks, and plate tampers
- Hand expose utilities and crossings
- Take grade shots, read grade stakes, and cut grade using laser level
- Ensuring all work is completed safely within specifications and according to blueprints
- Participate in toolbox talks and perform hazard inspections
- Class 5 driver’s license is required
Work in Saskatoon area only. Home every night. Competitive wage and in‑house training.
