Governments and industry have set an extremely ambitious goal of reducing net greenhouse gas emissions from today’s level of around 50 billion tonnes per year towards net-zero by 2050. This course will look at whether and if so, how, these goals can be achieved while remaining grounded in a real world technology, economic and geopolitical context.
