SESSIONAL FACULTY- INDIGST 2HW3: We Are the Medicine – Indigenous Teachings in Health Fall 2026

The Indigenous Studies Department invites applications for a sessional faculty teaching position for the course INDIGST 2HW3: We Are the Medicine – Indigenous Teachings in Health and Wellbeing during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is part of a 3.1‑month contract (approximately 17.89 hours per week) and will involve preparing and delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and coordinating with field experts to provide experiential learning.

Course Description / Relevant Employment Duties

This course builds foundations in Indigenous concepts of health and wellbeing; beginning with the groundwork of Indigenous thoughtways, it prepares students for later study in the practical application of medicinal knowledges.
