Position Summary

Ambrose University invites qualified applicants to submit teaching resumes for a sessional Dance Instructor position at Ambrose University. Reporting to and working collaboratively with the Chair of Ambrose Arts and other Arts faculty, the successful applicant will be called upon to deliver the DA 103 Dance Fundamentals course in the Fall 2026 semester.

Primary Responsibilities

A praxis and lecture-based introductory dance class open to all students. This course will explore classical, contemporary, and jazz dance techniques. Training includes barre work, centre practice, across‑the‑floor, and improvisation. Students will also be introduced to basic skeletal and muscle anatomy and health.
