Service/Valve Repair Technician

Job Summary

The Service/Valve Repair Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair and testing of various types of industrial valves used in field applications, as well as for general equipment maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care to protect his/her health and safety and that of other workers by following TARA Energy’s safety policies & procedures, as well as government and industry regulations.
• Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, plug valves, emergency shut‑downs, etc.
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at TARA Energy facilities and client locations.
• Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and professional standards that apply to the job.
