What This Position Is About

The Service Desk Technician is the initial point of contact for resolving technical issues for Fleming College users. They provide hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting for a range of devices including workstations, printers, mobile devices, and phones, and offer one‑on‑one training and advice to users.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first level of support for technical issues across the college, answering user queries, diagnosing problems, and providing resolution.
  • Provide hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting for workstations, printers, mobile devices, and phones.
  • Create, document, and close service tickets efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate updates on a day‑to‑day basis, particularly regarding critical issues.
