Lead a dedicated engineering team in tailings management with Teck's Highland Valley Copper operations in Logan Lake, BC. This on-site Senior Engineer Supervisor role focuses on dam safety and regulatory compliance.
As a Senior Engineer Supervisor in Tailings Engineering, you will report to the Superintendent Geotechnical and play a crucial role in enhancing tailings and water storage facility safety. Manage a team of engineers, oversee dam safety instrumentation, and ensure compliance with standards while developing your group’s capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise engineers and technicians in tailings management
• Conduct Visible Felt Leadership field visits for safety
• Ensure compliance with BC regulations and standards
• Manage external engineering consultant work
• Develop annual plans and budgets for dam safety
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant engineering fields
