Responsibilities

This position works in the IT Public Services Applications organizational unit. This is complex analytical work at the senior level in coordinating and overseeing the planning, implementation, sustainment and efficient delivery of enterprise applications for reliability services and adherence to established standards and practices for the organization. An incumbent of this class develops multi‑year application roadmaps; coordinates system upgrades and enhancements; ensures solutions align with business needs and technical standards; and coordinates and leads major projects. Considerable independence of judgement and action is exercised in the administration of the unit with complex problems or policy matters discussed with a supervisor who reviews work performance in terms of effective and efficient delivery of services and attainment of desired objectives.
