Senior SAGD Operator

Connacher Oil and Gas Limited (Connacher) has an opportunity for a Senior SAGD Operator, reporting to the Manager, Operations. This position is based at the Connacher Algar SAGD Facility located 80km South of Fort McMurray. This is a fly-in/fly-out rotation with seven days on and seven days off. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and team-oriented, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong operator experience with previous SAGD experience and control room operations, process monitoring and plant optimization.

Connacher is a Calgary-based in-situ oilsands producer. Connacher’s principal asset is a 100 percent interest in Connacher’s Great Divide oil sands leases near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Connacher operates two SAGD facilities and is currently executing a development plan to increase and maintain production of approximately 23,000 bbls/day.
