About the Role
The Energy Markets Branch works to ensure New Zealand has a secure, sustainable, and affordable energy system. In this role you will contribute to policy analysis and provide advice on complex energy issues. You will also lead projects, guide teams, and support the development of others. Experience in the energy sector, economics, or working with data is helpful but not essential.
The LNG project is a top government priority, focusing on delivering infrastructure to reduce electricity risk in dry years and strengthen gas system resilience. This fast paced programme includes work on procurement, legislation, operating models, and funding, with tight cabinet timeframes.
Remuneration
Salary: $110,098 – $138,028 + KiwiSaver.
