As Principal Metallurgist, you will report to the Manager, Projects Metallurgy, and prioritize the development of geo-metallurgical models. You will oversee technical staff and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality metallurgical outcomes while driving innovative methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote a strong safety culture and environmental compliance
• Serve as a metallurgical SME for project guidance
• Outline and uphold best practices for cost-effective results
• Manage metallurgical testing and technical staff coordination
• Document and present metallurgical study outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration preferred
