Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.

We are currently seeking a Senior Metallurgist. This role is a full time, max-term position, reporting to the Site Manager and will be based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.

The Opportunity

• Leading the implementation of safe work practices by ensuring work conditions and procedures within the Department are held to a high standard.
• Proactively identifying safety issues and investigating all safety and health concerns and continuously enhancing safety measures.
