A well-established Nairobi law firm specialising in commercial, corporate, real estate, and secretarial services is seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to provide legal services in conveyancing, commercial, and family matters on a consultancy basis.
Key responsibilities
Manage conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, transfers, leases, charges, and discharges.
Conduct due diligence and ensure proper, timely execution and registration of documents.
Advise clients on the legal processes of buying and selling property.
Draft and review commercial agreements (contracts, MOUs, NDAs, joint venture agreements) and property security documentation.
Handle matters before the Companies Registry, Land Registries, Local Authorities, Survey of Kenya, and the National Lands Commission.
Provide legal opinions on property and real estate matters.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders such as mortgage lenders, estate agents, land valuers, and surveyors.
