Opportunity Description
Senior Java (Springboot) Developer to support an Equity Trading Project with one of our major banking clients
Location Address: Hybrid - Toronto – 2 days/week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays – subject to change)
Subject to change: 3–4 days onsite may be required based on business needs
Contract Duration: ASAP to 10/31/2026 - (Possibility of extension & hope for them to convert to FTE)
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week
Story Behind the Need
Business group: The successful candidate will join the GBME FICC & Equity Trading – Risk and Wealth Technology team within Capital Markets. This team supports critical risk calculations for the derivatives trading platform and manages requests processed through the PEAK risk analytics ecosystem.
