Role Overview

VanCity is modernizing financial systems with secure, real-time, scalable solutions. The Senior Integration Engineer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management, and other Azure services. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Integration Platform and supports a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend integration workflows using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management) and C#.
• Architect event‑driven solutions with Azure Event Hubs and/or Kafka, implementing message schemas, ordering, retries, dead‑letter handling, and resiliency patterns.
• Build scalable, object‑oriented backend services with Azure Serverless and cloud‑native design patterns.
