Senior Hydropower Engineer
– Water Business Line, Western Canada Responsibilities
Serve as Senior Technical Lead, Design Manager, Project Manager, or Owner’s Engineer on major hydropower and dams projects. Lead the planning, assessment, rehabilitation, modernization, and delivery of hydroelectric generation facilities, including turbines, gates, penstocks, auxiliaries, balance of plant systems, and electro‑mechanical equipment. Provide senior engineering oversight for feasibility studies, due diligence reviews, owner’s engineer assignments, refurbishment programs, and recent generation developments. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, geotechnical, electrical, mechanical, and environmental disciplines to successfully deliver projects. Support major pursuits and proposals across Canada and internationally by providing technical strategy, project approach development, and client engagement support.
