Opportunity Description
Elevate health, safety, and environmental standards as a Senior HSSE Advisor at Stantec in the Atlantic region. This full-time position is pivotal in maintaining compliance and improving HSE processes across various offices.
You will collaborate with the HSSE Manager to manage incidents, enhance employee communication, and track HSE performance. Use your analytical skills and field experience to identify improvements and lead initiatives promoting enhanced safety practices. The role requires you to engage with the Workers Compensation Board and facilitate audits for ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging HSE communications for effective dissemination
• Participate in regional incident follow-ups and investigations
• Support monthly HSE Committee meetings and audits
• Develop and monitor HSE key performance indicators
• Assist in implementing ergonomics program within offices
Requirements:
• 5 years or more of experience in health and safety
