Job Description

Responsibilities

• Execute import/export operations from order placement to final delivery, including documentation and customs clearance, ensuring compliance within international trade regulations.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues (Containerized and Bulk) by working closely with International and Domestic Suppliers, Buyers, Freight Forwarders, Port authorities and Clearing Agents.
• Analyze goods classification, ensuring accurate allocation of HS codes for accurate valuation and origin declarations in compliance with trade regulations.
• Prepare and review trade documentation in accordance with respective Incoterms, commercial / trade terms and country-specific regulations.
• Check all documents for correctness such as sales tax calculation, transport documentation procedures such as road transport permits/way-bills, carrier’s responsibilities, dispatch documentation, etc.
