JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for all wedding, catering and group sales in the hotel, from booking events to their execution
- Assist Director of Event to prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters, ensure effective cost control
- To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
- Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
- To work closely with the Director of Event to prepare monthly forecasts
- To develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department
- Achieves Wedding, Banquet and Catering budgeted set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Event
- Minimum education of Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline
