Senior Engineer II, Design for Safety & Reliability

About the Role Design for Safety and Reliability Practitioner ensures that our Breaker products meet the highest standards of functional safety, reliability, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DfSR methodologies, functional safety standards and hands-on experience with Breaker & Final Distribution Products/System. Key Responsibilities Apply Design for Safety and Reliability (DfSR) principles during product development to meet safety integrity and reliability targets. Conduct Functional Safety Analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, Fault Tree Analysis) and ensure compliance with IEC and ISO standards. Define and validate Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) for Breakers & Final Distribution systems. Collaborate with design teams to implement safety architectures and diagnostic coverage strategies. Perform reliability modeling and prediction using tools like ReliaSoft, Weibull++, or equivalent. Develop and execute safety validation and reliability test plans (HALT, HAS...
