Senior Electrical Designer in Canada

Join Wood’s team as a Senior Electrical Designer to deliver innovative mining projects globally. This full-time position allows a hybrid working environment across multiple Canadian locations.
Reporting directly to the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Department Manager, you will collaborate with teams nationwide to design electrical systems for industrial plants. Your creativity and technical knowledge will be critical in executing projects that contribute to sustainable solutions within the Minerals & Metals sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete design and drafting of electrical packages including 3D models
• Conduct detailed design calculations for various electrical designs
• Prepare and issue drawing packages while ensuring technical accuracy
• Establish strong relationships with project stakeholders and clients
• Mentor junior designers, guiding them through project tasks
