Opportunity Description
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, and manage database servers and schemas.
- Maintain database security standards.
- Optimize database performance, particularly RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Create and manage database backups.
- Automate repetitive database tasks.
- Participate in on-call support rotation.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve critical database issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of IT industry experience.
- Experience in MSSQL, MySQL, and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL database administration.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services.
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues in database engines and infrastructure.
- Experience working with clients and cross-functional teams.
