Job Overview
This role supports production facilities, pipelines, and export systems by developing corrosion control strategies, improving material performance, and ensuring long‑term operational reliability across critical assets. The engineer provides technical leadership in inspection, monitoring, and material selection programs, strengthens plant integrity, reduces operational downtime, and supports safe hydrocarbon production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corrosion monitoring, control, and mitigation strategies for pipelines, downhole equipment, production facilities, and export systems.
- Provide technical expertise to operations teams on cathodic protection, internal corrosion monitoring, coatings, material preservation, and metallurgy performance.
