Senior Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant

Role Summary The Senior Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant owns the complete monthly close for a portfolio of clients, working to a review-ready, CPA-ready standard — each client's books are delivered clean, reconciled, and ready for review without rework. Senior Bookkeepers are trusted with the full bookkeeping cycle, including accounts payable through Bill.com, and own their clients through completion: surfacing questions proactively, hitting scheduled cadences, and closing the loop rather than leaving items open. Core ResponsibilitiesTechnical Bookkeeping & Reconciliation Perform full-cycle bookkeeping using cash OR accrual-basis accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loan balances, and clearing accounts monthly. Manage and reconcile AR and AP, including aging review and payment application (AP via Bill.com).
