Senior Backend Developer (Bogotá)

About this role

As a senior Backend Developer, you will be a part of the team that works on the development and maintenance of the backend components of multiple services related to the platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy new products and features using agile methodologies to provide the best customer experience.
• Ensure backend services are scalable and remain smooth, responsive, and real‑time as the platform grows.
• Build all API services and backend processes with the highest security principles to protect the user base.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, practical architectures.
• Improve existing core backend services written in Node.js.
• Implement new solutions that interact with different core services through RPC calls.
• Write complex database queries for compliance and financial purposes.
