Senior Automation QA (Playwright)

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a high-impact initiative focused on modernizing automation capabilities and transitioning to a new testing framework. This individual will play a key role in driving automation strategy, improving test coverage, and leading framework development efforts within a fast-paced engineering environment. This role is 2x per week in office in Downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from the ground up
• Lead the transition from legacy testing approaches to a modern automation framework (Playwright)
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred; open to Python/Java/Selenium background)
• Partner with engineering and product teams to identify automation opportunities and mitigate manual testing gaps
